FCFA is a parent governed homeschool drop-off program that aims to partner with families in educating their children from a Christian worldview, creating a collaborative and experiential learning environment from Preschool through 12th grade. We focus on providing an inclusive, hands-on, educational experience that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and social responsibility. Focusing on project-based learning and community partnerships, we hope to empower children to become lifelong learners and active contributors to society.
Let's homeschool together!
We offer a dynamic drop-off Afternoon Enrichment Program on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30–3:00 PM, providing students with engaging, hands-on learning experiences they won't find anywhere else! During this time, we explore subjects like Bible, Art, Music, STEM, Physical Education, Culinary Arts, Apothecary, Botany and more! Each month, our students dive into exciting unit studies on topics such as Space, Living Off the Land, Oceans, Entomology, Botany, Gardening, Kitchen Science, Engineering, and Weather. Our Enrichment program balances structured, interactive lessons with free play, encouraging creativity, curiosity, and collaboration across mixed-age groups.
Our curriculum transforms the educational experience by integrating innovative teaching methods, technology, and real-world applications. With a focus on critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration, we prepare students for the modern world. Through project-based learning, interdisciplinary studies, and personalized learning pathways, we create a dynamic classroom environment that engages students and encourages ownership of their education. We value parent involvement in our curriculum selection process and host a "Curriculum Night" each summer. This special evening offers families an in-depth look at our curriculum, teaching philosophies, and selection processes. By involving parents in these decisions, we foster a collaborative environment that aligns our educational approach with the needs and values of our students and families. This is a valuable opportunity for connection, transparency, and a shared commitment to academic excellence.
At FCFA, we believe in the power of service and community engagement. Each month, our students participate in meaningful service projects designed to foster compassion, responsibility, and a servant's heart. These hands-on experiences allow us to make a real difference in the lives of others, while developing a deeper understanding of the needs of our communities. Some of our 2024 Acts of Service include: volunteering at an animal shelter, making "bags of hope" for our homeless community, participating in community clean-up days around the neighborhood, and visiting nursing homes to serve the elderly. Through these outreach opportunities, our students build relationships, learn the value of teamwork, and have a chance to grow into compassionate and engaged citizens.
Our Drop-off Afternoon Enrichment Classes offer homeschooling parents an opportunity to supplement their curriculum with our fun hands on extra curricular activities. We meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 12:30-3:00pm. We also plan Field Trips and Community Acts of Service we welcome our families to join us on each month.
